Mrs. Jennie Harshbarger, 76, widow of William Harshbarger, formerly a Waveland businessman, died Sunday evening at Lakeview Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Harshbarger had been in failing health for five years and seriously ill six months. She was the daughter of Mark and Lydia Dooley and was born in the Dooley Station neighbohood, Parke County, where she spent her childhood. She was a member of the Nazarene Church. SHe had made her home with a son, harold in Cincinnati since she left Waveland some 14 years ago. Surviving besides the son are 2 brothers, George Dooley of Rockville and Frank of Indianapolis; 2 sisters, Mrs. Belle Reeser of Mecca and Mrs. Eva Crooks of Bellmore and one grandchild. In addition tot he husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Will of Terre Haute and sister, Mrs. Celia Moore. The funeral services were held in Cincinnati Tuesday mornign with burial in Maple Ridge cemetery here at Waveland. Short graveside services were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. - kbz

Mrs. Jennie HARSHBARGER, widow of former Waveland businessman, died Sunday evening at the Lakeview Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She had been in failing health 5 years and seriously ill for six months. Mrs. Harshbarger, who had her home with a son, Harold, in Cincinnati since leaving here about 14 years ago was the daughter of Mark and Lydia DOOLEY. She was b. in the Dooley Station neighborhood in Parke Co. where she spent her childhood. She was a member of the Nazarene church. Surviving, besides the son are two brothers: George Dooley of Rockville and Frank Dooley of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Belle Reeser of Mecca and Mrs. Eva Crooks of Bellmore and one grandchild. In addition to the husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Will Dooley of Terre Haute and a sister, Mrs. Celia Moore. Funeral services will be held in Cincinnati Tuesday morning. Burial will be at Maple Ridge Cemetery near Waveland at 1:30 o'clock Tues. afternoon. Short services also will be held at the graveside. - kbz
